LYMAN — Diane Rees Weber, a beloved mother, sister, wife, friend, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Friday Nov. 11, 2022, at the age of 77.

Born to Dale Porter Rees and Waiora Marr Tingey Rees on Sept. 27, 1945. She was a lifelong resident of Lyman, Wyoming.

Diane was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held various callings in the church including many in primary she thoroughly enjoyed. She was introduced to the love of her life by her best friend Dorothy Walk, a lifelong friend of 71 years.

Diane and Franz G. Weber married on June 18, 1965, in the Manti, Utah, temple. They had three wonderful children: Kathy Janae (Jim) Hughes, Jerry Weber and Tifani Ann (Tige) Jorgensen. She had 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Diane enjoyed chariot racing with her husband Franz. She spent a great deal of time watching her grandchildren’s activities, listening to Elvis, reading and at her Girl’s Night Out with her best friends Dorothy and Kathy.

Diane is survived by her brothers: Jerry (Louise) Rees and Dee (Carol) Rees; daughters: Kathy and Tifani and her grandchildren. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Sterling (Maevonne) Rees; her husband, Franz; and her son, Jerry Weber.

Services will be held in Lyman, Wyoming at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Ward building on Nov. 18, 2022. Viewing is at 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m.

The graveside service will follow at Lyman Cemetery.
