Town of Mountain View Request for Proposals –

Town Prosecutor

The Town of Mountain View, Wyoming, is seeking proposals or letters of interest from qualified attorneys to provide municipal prosecution services for the Town.

The Town Prosecutor is responsible for prosecuting violations of Town ordinances in the Mountain View Municipal Court and providing related legal services. Responsibilities include reviewing cases, coordinating with law enforcement and Town personnel, appearing in court, negotiating plea agreements, handling discovery and motions, and providing other services related to municipal prosecutions.

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Wyoming and in good standing with the Wyoming State Bar. Experience in criminal prosecution, municipal law, or courtroom practice is preferred.

Interested attorneys or law firms should submit a letter of interest or proposal that includes:

A summary of relevant qualifications and experience;

Availability for regularly scheduled and specially set court proceedings;

Any known or potential conflicts of interest;

A description of the proposed scope of services; and

Proposed compensation, including any monthly retainer, hourly rates, or other fees and expenses.

Submissions must be received no later than Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Submissions may be emailed to admin@mtvwy.com, mailed to the Town of Mountain View, P.O. Box 249, Mountain View, WY 82939, or delivered to Town Hall at 405 Highway 414, Mountain View, WY 82939.

This request is intended to solicit interest and proposals and does not obligate the Town to retain any applicant. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any submission, negotiate the scope and terms of services, and request additional information.

AND FINAL SETTLEMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY PUBLISHED that the Bridger Valley Joint Power Board has accepted as completed all work on the BVJPB 0.5 MG Water Tank Site Civil Project according to the plans, specifications and rules set forth between the Bridger Valley Joint Powers Board Stacey Maxfield Construction, the Contractor is entitled to settlement thereof.

Final payment will be made after the completion of publication of this Notice.  The date of first publication is September 24, 2026 and the date of final settlement will be after November 4, 2026 and when all punch list items are complete.

Any claim or claims for work or labor due, or for materials or supplies furnished, must be accordingly filed with the Bridger Valley Joint Powers Board prior to the above published date of final settlement.
