Town of Mountain View Regular Meeting Date Change

The Regular Mountain View Town Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 2, 2024 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 7:00 pm, at the Mountain View Town Hall.

The Regular Mountain View Town Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, 2024 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 23, 2024, 7:00pm, at the Mountain View Town Hall.

Minutes of the Business Meeting

held December 7, 2023

Held at Lyman Town Hall, Council Chambers

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hooton, present was Councilmember’s Bronson Berg, Eric Quinney and Jimmy Bramlett. Gregg Moretti was present via Zoom.

Councilman Bramlett made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilman Quinney, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Quinney made a motion to approve the minutes of the November16, 2023, Business Meeting and Work Session, second by Councilman Berg, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Quinney made a motion to approve Purchase Order #2023-18 to Reading Truck for   a snowplow in the amount of $8,475.00, second by Councilman Berg, motion carried unanimously.

Mayor Hooton turned the meeting over to Mayor -Pro-Tem Eric Quinney.

Councilman Bramlett made a motion to approve Purchase Order #2023-19 to Hooton Tech

in the amount of $4,695.78, second by Councilman Berg, motion carried unanimously, Mayor Hooton recuised himself.

Councilman Quinney turned the meeting back over to Mayor Hooton. 

Councilman Quinney made a motion to approve the Beverage Catering Permit for Walker Gonzalez on August 17, 2024, at the Heritage Barn, second by Councilman Moretti, motion carried unanimously. 

Councilman Moretti made a motion to approve the following bills: Brenntag Pacific – chemicals $2,018.56, Bridger Valley Propane – animal shelter $212.51, Century Equipment – supplies $1,299.25, Chelsie Fredrickson – contract labor $250.00, Jessica Binkard – water deposit refund $43.40, cash – Christmas party games/parade prizes $375.00,  Allie Smaltz – Santa pictures for Christmas Festival $150.00, Empower Trust – 457 retirement $2,984.00, E. Dean Stour – judge contract $1,200.00, Wyoming Worker’s Compensation – monthly reporting $985.44, Energy Laboratories – samples $336.00, John Deere Financial – supplies $954.93, The Hartford – insurance $275.10, Reladyne West LLC. – gas, diesel and drum of oil $6,301.00, Mountainland Supply – supplies $580.96, Otis Elevator – maintenance service contract $709.74, Peterson Legal Services – attorney contract $3,000.00, Postmaster – utilities bills $305.53, Dominion Energy – utilities $2,698.71, Real Kleen – janitorial supplies $199.15, Union Telephone – phone and internet service $1,728.43, Wells Fargo Financial – copier lease $139.00, Wyoming Association of Rural Water – membership fees $475.00, Wyoming Retirement – employees retirement $10,016.34, Ashlie Danner & Kody Snow – water deposit refund $74.53, Autumn Pavli – barn rental refund $250.00, Clara Walker – Christmas party meal $1,035.00, Tiffany Nielson – Christmas party favors $324.00, Bobby Eggleston & Hsiao Yi Tiu – Heritage House deposit refund $650.00, Hooton Tech – town hall cameras $7,761.98,  second by Councilman Berg, motion carried unanimously. Mayor Hooton recuised himself.

Councilman Quinney made a motion to adjourn into and Executive Session for personnel issues, second by Councilman Bramlett, motion carried unanimously.
