TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

November 19, 2024 at 7:00 PM

Town Hall – 405 HWY 414, Mountain View, WY 82939

Mayor Bryan Ayres led the Pledge of Allegiance.

The November 19, 2024 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Mayor, Bryan Ayres. Those present were, council members, Jamy Ferrin, Jenny Harvey, Tori Carter, and Kelly Bonner, Clerk, Penny Robbins, Deputy Clerk, Tammy Murray, Public Works Director, Jacob Porter and Police Officer, Mark Erramouspe. Attorney, Brandon Taylor joined by zoom.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Kelly Bonner to approve the agenda changing the contract with AVI approval stating as amended, motion carried.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Jenny Harvey to approve the November 5, 2024 meeting minutes, motion carried.

Motioned by Tori Carter, second by Kelly Bonner for Mayor Bryan Ayres to sign the contract for the Economic Development Comprehensive Master Plan with AVI Professional Corporation as amended and discussed in the workshop, motion carried.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jamy Ferrin to approve the following bills; Brenntag Pacific INC., Chemicals, $1900.37, Chemtech-Ford, Water Analysis, $60.00, ComTech, Vehicle Equipment, $376.85, Enbridge, Gas, $171.77, Ferguson Waterworks #1116, Supplies, $1070.00, First Bankcard, Vehicle Maintenance, Travel/Education, $3283.49, John Deere Financial, Supplies, $492.95, One-Call of Wyoming, Tickets, $21.00, Rees Auto Service, Vehicle Maintenance, $2473.98; motion carried.

High School Seniors that attended the meeting for their College and High School Government class were Amilya Hoopes, Kayla Kidman, Mia Guild and Nash Piekkola.

There being no other council business, Mayor Bryan Ayres adjourned the meeting at 7:05 pm.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Uinta County Library-Evanston is requesting price proposals for the installation of the floor and wall tiling in seven (7) restrooms. The project consists of the installation of Castille Chateaux Gris Matte Porcelain and Castille Selah White Ceramic Tile purchased by the library. The contractor will be responsible for measuring and quantifying the square footage for the project. There will be separate contracts for the demolish and preparation for restroom. Coordination with the contractor completing the demolition and preparation for tile of the restrooms. Contractors will be allowed to complete two restrooms at a time which allows the library to have usable restrooms throughout the construction. Demolition and preparation for the tile will take place on Monday’s, weekends and evenings. Contractors are welcome to schedule a time to visit the site for measurements if needed outside of the pre-proposal visit. The timeline is as follows:

The deadline for submittals is 4:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on January 8, 2024.  Any submittal received after the deadline will be returned to the sender unopened.

Please submit four (4) copies of the Proposal in a sealed envelope and time stamped by the clerk’s office.
