Jade Hadden is appealing the P & Z commissions denial of a Conditional Use Permit to allow 6 dogs at 408 E. Walnut. Ms. Hadden explained that circumstances are that she is moving in with her parents and she has 3 dogs and her parents already have 3 dogs.  She stated that she is hoping  the timeframe will only be for a year.  Attorney Peterson explained that planning and zoning had 1 phone call and 4 letters of neighbors opposing this permit.  The vote on May 5th at the P & Z meeting was 2 to 2, which in a tie situation the permit fails. Opened bids shall be available for public review after the contract has been finalized.
